Describes the development of the computerized
bibliographic system in the Thailand
Development Research Institute Library and
Information Centre since its inception in 1986.
Emphasis is placed on the use of TIBIS, an
inhouse application program written in
CDS/ISIS PASCAL, which enhanced the
capability of Unesco's Micro-ISIS so that the
library could create an integrated computerized
bibliographic system. The system can be utilized
on a local area network.
