The Eighteenth Century Short Title Catalogue (ESTC), available on the British Library's on-line bibliographic information service, BLAISE-LINE, since 1982, is now also accessible on the Research Libraries Information Network (RLIN). Examines the history of the project as an international effort and the development of the RLIN link. North American records are handled by a team in Louisana State University, while the United Kingdom and the rest of the world report holdings to the team based in the British Library. The project provides a valuable research tool for scholars, giving enhanced access to the fullest possible range of the output of the eighteenth century presses.
