Abstract
Report on the annual meeting of the Working Group on Information and Documentation of EADI (European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes), held in Paris, France, in September 1997. The meeting gave special attention to the lack of interlinkages between the Francophone and English language-oriented development information centres and sources in Europe, the great variety of systems, structures and facilities hampering easy access to information, and the absence of cooperation schemes among Africa centres in Europe and of cooperation between Europe and Africa. A Task Force was formed to develop a common coordinated approach to the retrieval of information supporting development research and development activities.
