Discusses: the release of CDS/ISIS for Windows 1.4; a request for information on a shelf-listing and circulation module which can be used with CDS/ISIS for Windows; CDS/ISIS implementation for a union catalogue of serials; stopword files; sorting numbers in CDS/ISIS; the comparative advantages and disadvantages of using generalized database management programs rather than CDS/ISIS for library catalogues; the conversion of a CDS/ISIS database to UNIMARC; an Indian format based on the Common Communication Format.
