Abstract
The objective of this paper is to review the appropriateness of CD-ROM technology as a medium for business database provision, identify some key issues which must be considered by information managers who wish to provide CD-ROM services, reflect on direct end-user access, and review the development of business CD-ROM products. The perspective is that of an information manager and user, not a producer. The author is responsible for computing, A-V, library and information services in a leading European graduate business school.
