Investigates investment and financial newsletters using content analysis and user interviews. Newsletters fall into eight general areas of coverage, each area being fairly distinct from the others. By analysing detailed subject coverage, potential areas of overlap were identified. Three categories of reader were defined from subject coverage. Newsletters are a valuable source of investment and financial information. They are mainly used for general awareness, and are considered to be unique information sources.
