This article focuses on the evolution in the provision of published information at pharmaceutical companies since the transition from print to electronic resources. In particular it highlights the importance of effective access to high quality published information resources in pharma and development of the service through an integrated strategy to enable proactive management of the portfolio. The article also highlights challenges, opportunities and trends for the future.
