Abstract
This article outlines the development of the Scottish Business Information Service (SCOTBIS) at the National Library of Scotland over the last ten years. It emphasizes the move from traditional print-based resources to electronic databases to extend its reach within Scotland in line with the Library’s stated aim of widening access to the Library’s considerable resources to Scottish citizens. It also describes how SCOTBIS is working with other business information providers to offer a comprehensive collection of business resources to users.
