Abstract
This article surveys the use of business information in UK libraries, based on two questionnaires sent to libraries/information departments in autumn 2005.
Summary of findings: stable and improving budgetary and staffing position; more outsourcing and offshoring; quality of new staff improving; KM increasingly recognized and mainstreamed; e-content improvement, service development and end-user training are top
three strategic priorities; and market for pay-as-you-go access bottoming out.
