Abstract
Dr. David Gillingham has been an academic in both Canada and the United Kingdom. He has extensive experience in business and has worked as a small business consultant under the sponsorship of The Government of Ontario's Small Business Management Development Program. This paper presents a method of organisational attribute modelling which can be used by individual firms within an industry to improve their profitability. The results of applying this technique to two Canadian and one United Kingdom industry, composed mainly of small firms, are presented to illustrate the use of the process.
