Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to describe a transdisciplinary preschool programme for handicapped children where the speech-language pathologist is a member of the teaching team in a self-contained classroom. Specific language training is the focus of all daily activities, facilitating the extraction and use of grammatical rules. All activities centre around a specific language topic. A sample weekly lesson plan is provided.
