Abstract
Mathematically, if the unbroken trend is upwards, the growth rate at the end of a period will probably be faster than the average for the period. A longer period of time does not necessarily give a stronger basis for making projections of growth. The best basis for prediction is not to go back as far as possible, but to estimate the growth in the most recent period. It remains true that no large world movement is growing as fast as the Christian movement.
