Abstract
The following paper was presented by the author at the Second International Conference on Library Services to Visually Impaired Persons 1994 - and will also be published by Ulverscroft in the report of the complete conference proceedings. Changes in telecommunications, printing and computing prac tices are seen as leading to new delivery systems for all book and information users, whether visually impaired or not. Future developments will accelerate change and could greatly extend available services. They may also lead to a source of finance for a complete new system.
