Abstract
A three-year EU-funded project focused on low vision in early intervention services which are provided across Europe for young children with multiple disabilities and visual impairment. It administered and analysed a Europe-wide questionnaire, developed a core curriculum for staff working in this area, and ran a week-long course in Germany. In addition, a web site was developed at the University of Dortmund and a CD-ROM with materials for the course. Final outcomes are: the Dortmund Declaration; a core curriculum with 16 modules; a final CD-ROM with readings, videos, core curriculum and outcomes of the original questionnaire.
