Abstract

Last autumn's BBC2 documentary series on the work of Hampshire Probation Service, was the first occasion to give Probation such extended public exposure. Reactions within the Service have generally been unflattering. Caroline Morgan, Cardiff Student Unit Senior, and Graham Nicholls, Nottinghamshire's Information Officer and Chair of Nottingham Regional Film Theatre, assess its merits.
