Abstract
Development of means of contact vibration protection requires specific approaches to the choice of materials and construction methods. Their location in the man-machine system is strictly limited by their mass, size, position and determined by anthropometric and psycho-physiological characteristics of a man. In the paper we give a mathematical description of the ergonomic factors and examples of a new means of contact vibration protection such as vibroprotective stands, tips, casings and mittens.
