Abstract
Recent expansion of railway networks has led to complaints of noise and vibration. Measurements were made at a number of points along the Musashinonansen Freight Line to determine the vibration from the underground line and the associated noise. It was found that the main source of complaint arises from ground borne vibration leading to secondary radiation of low frequency noise.
