This paper deals with three different aspects of fire properties: (1) ignitability, (2) flame spread and (3) contribution to heat release. The results in different national fire tests of PU- and PIR-foams are discussed.
It is found that results in some cases depend on the thickness and density of test samples.
Comparison between small-scale and large-scale fire tests are made, the conclusion reached is that no correlation can be seen.
