Announcing The 18 th ICLASP June 2024

ICLASP18: The 18^th International Conference on Language and Social Psychology June 12 – 15, 2024 Hosted by Tallinn University Baltic Film, Media and Arts School, Tallinn, Estonia

The 18th International Conference on Language and Social Psychology (ICLASP18: 2024) will be held between 12 to 15 June 2024. The conference brings together scholars who engage in socio-psychological research and analysis concerning the role of language in society. It will host a number of panels across diverse areas including, but not limited to, health, culture, and current political issues. Discipline diversity is the hallmark of ICLASP and includes anthropology, sociology, communication, applied linguistics as well as social psychology.

ICLASP18 will connect scholars who engage in socio-psychological research and analysis concerning the role of language in society. The conference will feature four distinguished, high profile Keynote Speakers: Professor Felix Ameka (University of Leiden, The Netherlands), Professor Denise Haunani Solomon (Penn State University, USA), Professor Anna Verschik (Tallinn University, Estonia) and Professor Sally Wiggins Young (Linköping University, Sweden).

All proposals received by 1 February 2024 will be reviewed, and corresponding authors will be notified of the status of their submissions by 1 March 2024.

ICLASP18 will result in a special issue or two of the Journal of Language and Social Psychology in 2025. Potential authors will be contacted during the abstract submission and review process. The article submission deadline will coincide with the start of ICLASP18 with a publication year of 2025.
