Abstract
We are constantly depressed by good books badly tarnished by sloppy editing and wretchedly unadventurous layout. In both respects these books are veritable breaths of fresh air. They are laid out with exceptional competence. Some topics are encapsulated in a box on a grey background. In an age when world history is being made by people with no understanding of history, they meet a crying need.
