This article examines our state of knowledge on the creative process. The author has not confined himself to education/psychology sources. The creative process starts with imagery and has limitless vehicles for expression. The most prominent are language, music and painting. The author concludes by drawing attention to the woefully under-subscribed areas where further research is needed.
