Abstract
This paper presents a practical introduction to understanding the earliest recollections (ER's) of G-T students who have social adjustment problems at school. The first part of this paper focuses on the meaning of ER's. A classification system for examining ER's is described in the second part. In the third part, methods for obtaining ER's are identified. The last part of the paper highlights three thematic differences between the ER's of G-T and non-G-T students.
