Abstract
The writer argues that just as high ability exists in the creative, cognitive and psychomotor domains there is high ability in the psychosocial domain and one of its facets is social giftedness. A definition of social giftedness is provided. The research design is described. Then the researcher sets out to identify the specific behaviours associated with social giftedness and constructs a measure. Individuals are identified from this measure who are subjected to interview, a personality test, and detailed case study. General findings are discussed.
