Abstract
Children today aw growing up in a world which is becoming a global community with international obligations. There aw responsibilities for the ecological sustainability of our planet, protection of its resources and an ability to face and solve global crises. The future Problem Solving Program (FPS) provides children with an avenue for the development of skills, knowledge, strategies and understandings to help empower them to deal with change. PPS is multi-faceted; it is a small group, school-based, creative, futuristic, structured, multi disciplinary, suitable for whole class or withdrawal groups, year-long, competitive or non competitive, suitable for years/grades 1 to 12, problem-finding and problem-solving, thinking skills curriculum activity.
