The changes in the recommended daily dietary allowances (RDA's) with successive revisions as set by the Food and Nutrition Board of the U.S. Academy of Sciences together with variations between these values and those of RDA's of other nations indicate lack of precision. An absence of correlation between health patterns and conformity with RDA' values raises further doubts as to their validity.
