Abstract
After 50 years of Independence Orissa is all poised to take a place on the industrial map of India. Setting up new industries in greenfield areas is a mammoth task. It deals with the factors that are potential impediments to any programme of rehabilitation and then proposes a working model as a possible guideline for the major industries setting up greenfield projects in Orissa.
