Abstract
Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives provide businesses the mechanism to discharge their responsibility towards society. However, the scope of business involvement with society has been a debatable issue. Does it end with the corporate paying taxes and providing employment or has a wider implication? In the new global economy, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become a hallmark for the organization success. Companies which fail to maximize the adoption of CSR strategy will be left behind. The paper discusses how CSR practices can be used as a strategic tool to provide business advantage and ensure sustainable growth of the business.
