Abstract
The liberalization policies of the government have affected the indigenous manufacturers of soft board indus try in general and Southern Soft Board Limited (SSBL) in particular. The Managing Director has appointed a task force to diagnose the situation faced by the company and develop strategic action plans for the future. Considering that the opportunities are few, threats are more, and options are limited, what should SSBL do?
