Abstract
Based on 172 responses to a questionnaire containing various measures of stress, strain, social support, and undermining, this article by Anup K Singh and Punam Sahgal examines patterns of these measures among men and women as well as single and dual career couples.
The results indicate that men experience greater role erosion than women, single career husbands have higher well-being, and working women display higher irritability, anxiety, and depression.
