Abstract
Sickness in industry, more so sickness in small scale industries, has become a national concern. Is sickness primarily due to ineptitude and dishonesty of management? Is it because of the destructive attitude of labour unions? Is it due to non-disbursement of funds by banks? These are some of the questions that are confronting academics, industrialists, and policy-makers. This case would enable the readers to get a glimpse of the causes that lead to sickness and what might be done to prevent sickness.
