Abstract
The Journal of Communication Inquiry is supported in part with contributions to the Malcolm S. MacLean Jr. Memorial Fund. Former students and friends of Professor MacLean, who was director of the Iowa School of Journalism 1967-72, established the fund following his death February 20, 1974. Those wishing to contribute to the fund and, hence, to the Journal of Communication Inquiry, may do so by sending contributions to the School of Journalism and Mass Commun ication and designating the gift for the MacLean Fund. Gifts are tax deductible and will be acknowledged by the University of Iowa Foundation
