Abstract
Program Description:
This miniseminar will highlight advances in clinical case management of patients with dyspnea associated with upper airway tract abnormalities. Both endoscopic and open management of the difficult airway will be discussed. A perspective on advances and options for office based management will be offered. A perspective on indications for advanced techniques including airway transplantation will be offered. This miniseminar will be interactive, with audience participation encouraged.
Educational Objectives:
1) Differentiate options and indications for endoscopic and open management of upper airway stenosis. 2) Demonstrate office based management of the difficult airway. 3) Recite the decision pathway for upper airway transplantation.
