Abstract
Administrators are missing access to endless information and support if they fail to work closely with their library media specialists. No matter the size of the school district nor the number of students and staff served, this specialist offers access to research, periodicals, and statistics that benefit administrators, faculty members, and students. They can be a source of good public relations, facility planning, curricular tie-ins, technology training, grant-writing guidelines, examples of written policies, and a positive school environment.
