Teachers and administrators have overwhelmingly reported a desire to use the 4 × 4 block scheduling model. In survey after survey, success in the block is a direct result of paced, interactive teaching. It is imperative for first-year teachers to discover the strengths of strategies taught in an appropriately paced lesson.
