Students need to acquire interpersonal skills, including the ability to work as a member of a team, to teach others, and to work well with people from diverse cultural backgrounds as well as with those with viewpoints different from their own. Only when we help our students learn these skills are we truly preparing them to be competitive in the global work place of the 21st century.
