Educators and parents adopt a variety of strategies to augment the curriculum for gifted students during the school year. Increasingly, however, talented students are turning to summertime activities as a way to maintain a high level of challenge. A wide variety of summer options are available, ranging from outdoor wilderness experiences to culturally-rich international programs to intensive academic programs.
