Abstract

As schools consider moving toward the four block schedule, many have difficulty obtaining the necessary support to make the switch. Certainty there are obstacles to overcome in soliciting support. Often overlooked is the decision-making process that must be in place when considering the four-block. A top-down mandate is sure to result in failure. Gaining support from all the major stakeholders is critical.
