Modifying Structure: A Resource For Improved Student Achievement At the Middle Level

Abstract

Many middle grade schools use teaming or other organizational models to create smaller teaching and learning units. The value of such struc tures lies in the conditions that result when teachers and students engage in thoughtful, collaborative work that affects the success of middle level students.
