The purposes of education are to enhance mental and moral growth and to prepare our young people to improve the environment, quality of life, and the future for themselves and generations to come, says this writer. To meet these challenges, he says, our education system must undergo some structural changes that will prepare the leaders of tomorrow to meet the needs of the emerging technological and global society.
