Abstract
Prepared as an open letter to new teachers, this article offers several suggestions, procedures, and hints to help those entering the classroom for the first time as teachers. The writer, who has been involved in teacher education for 30 years, hopes the piece will inspire teachers to have faith in themselves and hope in their students.
