Abstract
The implementation of metric education at the secondary level is impeded by teacher misperceptions and lack of training. In an attempt to overcome such problems, the American College Testing Program has designed a kit of metric instructional materials for secondary students under a grant from the U.S. Office of Education. The materials are described and recom mendations for imple mentation are pro vided here.
