Student Self-Scheduling —Is It Worth the Risk?

Abstract

With a sample of nearly 700 students in grades 9,10,and 11 at seven schools, the author describes what he learned about the kind of influence such variables as parents, friends, counselors, teachers, written information, and long-and short- term goals have on the scheduling process.
