Anonymity ... Scourge of Our Time

Abstract

Schools, like the rest of society, have fallen into the trap of adopting bureaucratic communications. They assign numbers to people for efficiency's sake. Although we do this unwittingly, these writers say, we are really accentuating anonymity. They urge principals to change this dehumanizing situa tion.
