The Principal and the Stull Act

Abstract

The Stull Bill, AB 293, was passed by the California Legislature and signed by the governor on July 20, 1971. It became Article 5.5 of the Education Code. The intent was to "establish a uniform system of evaluation and assess ment of the performance of certificated personnel with in each school district of the State." It is noteworthy that the Act applies to all certificated personnel.
