Abstract
A guidance clinic program based on behavior modification theory and positive reinforcement was implemented in one junior and one senior high school in the Sacramento City Unified School District. It proved effective as an op tional way of dealing with disruptive students who ordinarily would have been suspended, exempted, or excluded from school.
