Abstract
Some large schools are abandoning spectator sports because of the misconduct of a few. The Toledo, O., schools decided that the values of varsity athletics, enthusiastically pursued, out weigh the dangers. By seeking and getting com munity support, they not only saved the inter- scholastic athletic program but molded it into a positive force for community relations.
