How best can the gifted be lifted? So goes the first line of a little jingle voicing a schoolman's concern over getting the best from the best. In rural areas with sparse resources, the problem is especially acute. What follows is the story of how the needs of able youth in a sparsely popu lated rural area have been met through cooper ative action. In addition, it is a chronology of fine regional relationships between a college and its service area.
