Abstract
This article makes the point that innovative practices in small schools have gone unnoticed too long. The lack of publicity, for whatever reason, has inhibited the spread of successful programs, Mr. Heesacker says, and he cites several examples of local success with new programs in small schools. This general survey of innovations serves here as an intro duction to the papers that follow in this issue of the BULLETIN.
