Abstract
A program that simulated a trip to Mexico was able to provide students with a year's pro ficiency in the Spanish language, as well as a valuable experience in "the joyful living of the Mexican people through contacts with charming Mexican teachers and through performing the regional dances and songs of the colorful Mexi can heritage."
