Abstract
"The Seminar Program offers a way to organize an advanced foreign language class which con sists of several levels. It provides a workable method of individualizing instruction, by allow ing a teacher to work with small groups of in dividuals without slighting other students. But the program's greatest strength is that it puts the responsibility of learning on the student— where it belongs—giving him a valuable initia tion into the self-reliance that will be expected of him in schooling beyond high school and in life in general."
